Khalil Suleiman Halilu, a public servant, serial entrepreneur and technology enthusiast, is a firm believer in the power of existing and emerging
technologies to improve and transform lives and livelihoods in developing countries.

He has been, since September 2023, the Executive Vice Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria’s National Agency for Science
and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI). Khalil’s vision is to
create, administer and sustain change in a rapidly evolving environment.
He is also the Founding Chairman of The CANs Technology Hub
(West Africa’s first eco-friendly Technology Hub) and founding
CEO of ShapShap Technologies Limited and of OyaOya,
Africa’s 1st on-demand commodity marketplace.

Halilu holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and
a master’s in international business, both from the University of
Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. A sports enthusiast, he’s a
member of the Kano, Lagos & Abuja Polo Clubs, and the Kano Golf Club.
