Fatimah is a seasoned legal professional with a wealth of experience. She served as an AGM of Legal & Regulatory Services at Phase 3 Telecom Limited for three years. Fatimah later held the position of Senior Associate and Team Lead of the Core & Transactions department at Miyetti Law for over three years. As an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators Nigeria, and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association (IBA), she possesses a strong foundation in legal practice. 

 

Fatimah has offered valuable counsel to prominent government agencies, individuals, and multinational corporations in debt recovery, commercial transactions, and intellectual property laws. Her dedication to innovative legal approaches and academic development is evident in her groundbreaking research and contributions to the Global Legal Insights Group on Corporate Recovery, insolvency laws, Energy Laws, regulations, and Oil and Gas laws and Regulations in Nigeria from 2017 to 2019.

 

She co-authored an article on Pro Bono activities in Nigeria, published by the International Bar Association in 2017. Furthermore, Fatimah’s expertise led her to serve as a panellist at the IBA Young Lawyers Training in 2018, where she discussed Cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions. She continued to make significant contributions by participating as a panellist during the Nigerian Bar Association-Section on Business Law Annual General Conference debate on the path to partnership in June 2019. Additionally, she became a session coordinator during the 4th African International Conference on Islamic Finance in November 2019. 

 

Fatimah is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law and Management at Baze University Abuja, further enhancing her legal acumen.
